- Living A Nomadic International Life: What is it like living abroad? How do you deal with medical and schooling for children? Where is a safe place to live? When is the right age for children to experience other cultures? Why go abroad at all? These and many other questions we will addressed through our personal experiences, experiences of other families we have met, and research on the topics. We will share our stories; some are humorous, some are inspiring, and some are heartbreaking. Through this presentation, we will paint a realistic picture of life as a nomadic family traveling the world.

- International Teaching: International teaching was the best kept secret I wish I had known when I first started in education. I had no idea that I could teach my subject, STEM, in other countries, when I didn’t even speak the language. If I had known then what I know now, I would have started international teaching from the beginning. We will share insights into how to become a successful international teacher. Topics include: How to find a teaching position? What is an “international school” and what do they teach? How do you deal with medical insurance and retirement accounts? What are good and bad places to teach? How much money can you earn? Is it right for me? And more.
